FAQ
Häufig gestellte Fragen
Generell sind unsere Armaturen pflegeleicht und hygienisch. Dafür sorgt ihre glatte Oberfläche. Schmutz kann sich daran nur schwer absetzen. Es tut den Armaturen jedoch gut, wenn Sie sie regelmäßig pflegen. Nicht ausführlich, aber immer mal wieder. Nehmen Sie dazu einen milden Reiniger und gehen Sie mit der weichen Seite eines Spülschwamms einige Male über die Armaturen. Anschließend mit einem Microfasertuch trocken reiben und Sie werden sehen: Mit wenigen Handgriffen sind Ihre Armaturen wieder ein echter Hingucker in der Küche.
Sollte Ihre Niederdruckarmatur leicht nachtropfen, müssen Sie nicht gleich einen Handwerker bestellen. Denn das ist vollkommen normal. Die Ursache: Eine Niederdruckarmatur ist in der Regel an einen Boiler angeschlossen. Haben Sie warmes Wasser verwendet, fließt kaltes Wasser in den Boiler nach und wird erhitzt. Durch den Temperaturanstieg dehnt sich das Wasser in der Leitung aus. Das Resultat: Der ansteigende Wasserdruck sorgt dafür, dass eine geringe Menge Wasser in die Armatur gedrückt wird und so ein paar Tropfen austreten können.
In der Regel benötigen Sie eine Hochdruckarmatur in Ihrem Haushalt. Das ist immer dann der Fall, wenn das Wasser über die zentrale Wasserversorgung erwärmt wird. Das erkennen Sie daran, dass dann in Ihrer Küche sowohl ein Wandventil für die Kaltwasser- als auch die Warmwasserleitung vorhanden ist. Sie benötigen dann eine Armatur, die mit dem hohen Wasserdruck aus der Leitung umgehen kann. Manchmal lassen die Gegebenheiten Ihrer Wohnung oder Ihres Hauses eine zentrale Warmwasserleitung jedoch nicht zu. Ist dies der Fall, übernimmt ein Boiler oder ein Durchlauferhitzer die Erwärmung des Wassers. Sorgt bei Ihnen Zuhause ein Durchlauferhitzer für warmes Wasser benötigen sie ebenfalls eine Hochdruckarmatur. Eine Niederdruckarmatur kommt dann zum Einsatz, wenn Ihre Warmwasserversorgung über einen Boiler erfolgt. Diese minimiert den Druck aus der Wasserleitung und leitet das Wasser mit deutlich geringerem Druck in den Boiler.
Unsere Schlauchbrausen machen Ihren Alltag einfacher. Sie holen sich damit die Wasserzufuhr in der Spüle dahin, wo Sie sie gerade benötigen. Flexibel und effektiv. Dabei sind unsere Schläuche für ständige Bewegung ausgelegt. Achten Sie lediglich darauf, dass Sie den Schlauch nicht knicken. Das kann ihn beschädigen – und er beginnt zu tropfen. Sollte der Schlauch zudem nicht mehr geschmeidig in den Armaturenkörper zurückgleiten, haben Sie nichts falsch gemacht. Tragen Sie einfach etwas Armaturenfett auf, sobald sich erste Anzeichen zeigen. Das hat Wirkung. Der Schlauch gleitet dann wieder schnell und direkt an seinen Platz zurück - so wie Sie es kennen.
Am Küchenfenster in der Sonne stehen und sich in aller Ruhe um den Abwasch kümmern. Eine Vorstellung, die unsere Armaturen möglich machen. Schauen Sie sich dazu mal unsere herausnehmbaren, versenkbaren oder klappbaren Armaturen an. Diese drei Konzepte ermöglichen Ihnen das problemlose Öffnen des Fensters vor der Spüle mit nur wenigen Handgriffen.
Eine spritzende Armatur bringt Wasser nicht nur ins Spülbecken. Der Grund dafür ist in der Regel Kalk, der sich im Strahlregler oder Strahlzerteiler der Armatur festgesetzt hat. Bevor Sie direkt zu einem aggressiven Reiniger greifen: Legen Sie Ihren Strahlregler oder Strahlzerteiler in wenig Zitronensäure oder Essig für einige Zeit ein, Kalk und Verschmutzungen werden gelöst und das Problem ist behoben. Für die Reinigung gilt: Säubern Sie das feine Netz des Strahlreglers oder Strahlzerteilers, das am Auslauf der Armatur angebracht ist. Der Trick, um eine spritzende Armatur zu vermeiden: Nehmen Sie die Reinigung regelmäßig vor - und geben Sie Kalk so erst gar keine Chance.
Plitsch, platsch: Wenn die Armatur undicht ist, ist das sehr ärgerlich. Sie können jedoch gelassen bleiben. Entweder weist die Armatur Kalkablagerungen in der Kartusche auf oder die Dichtungen sind nicht mehr funktionstüchtig. Je nach handwerklicher Begabung und Ausstattung der eigenen Werkzeugkiste empfiehlt es sich hier den Sanitärfachmann zu rufen. So lösen Sie das Problem als gut ausgestatteter Heimwerker ganz einfach selbst: Wenn Sie Kalk an den Dichtungen finden, reinigen Sie diese unter Zuhilfe des richtigen Werkzeugs mit Zitronensäure oder Essig oder ersetzen Sie sie durch neue. Bei Undichtigkeit der Kartusche tauschen Sie diese unter Zuhilfe des richtigen Werkzeugs aus.
